In a bold move to catalyze entrepreneurial growth and foster investment opportunities, AIC-Nalanda launched an initiative, "Angel Investment Mantra." This event, designed as a fusion of knowledge sessions and networking opportunities, specifically targeted the High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs). The collaboration with FluidVenture added an extra layer of expertise to this impactful initiative.

Rourkela Chapters:

Chapter 1: RCCI Bhawan, Rourkela - November 29, 2023

The inaugural chapter unfolded at RCCI Bhawan in Rourkela, drawing in a dynamic gathering of over 20 HNIs. The event commenced with Mr. Naresh Arya, Vice President of RCCI, setting the stage for an engaging session. 

Mr. Devjyoti Mohanty, the torchbearer of AIC-Nalanda, initiated proceedings by introducing the audience to the current startup ecosystem. This laid the groundwork for Mr. Durga Prasad to articulate the objectives of the "Angel Investment Mantra."

The spotlight of the event was on Mr. Amit Singal, a distinguished angel investor, who shared his personal journey and motivations within the startup sector. His insights into the benefits of investing in startups, considering them as an asset class, resonated well with the HNIs. Mr. Singal also took the opportunity to address queries from the participants.

As the first chapter concluded, Mr. Durga Prasad unveiled a groundbreaking initiative - the "Consortium of Odisha Investor Network" (COIN). This community aimed to bring together local HNIs, creating a collaborative platform for collective investment in startups.

Jharsuguda Chapter:

Chapter 2: Hotel Orchard, Jharsuguda - November 30, 2023

The momentum carried forward to Hotel Orchard in Jharsuguda for the second chapter, where more than 10 local industrialists actively participated. 

Just as in Rourkela, Mr. Devjyoti Mohanty took the stage to provide insights into the local startup ecosystem. Mr. Durga Prasad reiterated the objectives of the "Angel Investment Mantra," setting the tone for the main speaker, Mr. Amit Singal.

Mr. Singal once again shared his wealth of experience and motivation as an angel investor, underlining the substantial benefits of investing in startups. His address specifically catered to the concerns and queries of the HNIs present.

COIN Unveiled

As the event drew to a close in Jharsuguda, Mr. Durga Prasad once again unveiled the transformative community - "Consortium of Odisha Investor Network" (COIN). This community, a brainchild of AIC-Nalanda, seeks to unite local HNIs with a shared vision for investing in startups. Mr. Prasad extended a warm invitation to all participants, urging them to join this pioneering community and contribute to the growth of the local startup ecosystem.
